Cat Trucks in Focus – Brisbane Truck Show

Two years after their Australian debut, Cat Trucks will be returning to the Brisbane Truck Show to show off their 2013 line.

The new trucks that will be on display will be the new CT630LS, as well as the CT610 and CT630.

Bill Fulton, the Australian Cat Trucks managing director, says that “The CT630 and CT630LS both feature the ever-reliable, customer-preferred ADR80-03 CatC15 engine, which requires no EGR or SCR.”

The new trucks will also feature LED driving lights, which they claim will provide the driver with “added safety for driving conditions at night, and minimize reflective glare.” LED lights will now come standard for new Cat trucks.
The CT630LS will also have an Eaton UltraShift Plus AMT alongside the traditional 18-speed manual.

At the Cat Trucks stand, engineering and management staff will be hosting seminars throughout the day to provide more details on the engines, including fuel economy tests and other features. These seminars will be held on every day of the show, and are open to all visitors.

Cat Trucks will be at stand 51 at the Brisbane Truck Show, which will run from May 16 – 19.
