New heavy equipment event to hit Sydney in April

The Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo is being held over a weekend in April

Billed as being “run by industry for industry”, the Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo is a new event that aims to help contractors keep up to date with the latest technology in earthmoving, construction, trucking, agricultural and public space maintenance equipment.

Managed by representatives of the Australian heavy equipment industry, it’s a free, family-friendly show that will be held from Friday 15 to Sunday April 17, 2016 at the Penrith Panthers Club to the west of Sydney.

“Many years ago the best of the earthmoving shows were held at the Panthers at Penrith and were the talk of the industry,” the organisers say.

“Diesel, Dirt and Turf will be the most exciting show in decades.”

Organisers say you can expect to see “the biggest range of earthmoving machinery dealers, attachments, agricultural machinery, mowing equipment, trucks, boats, bikes, and more”.

There’s a live demo area, an operators’ challenge for those who think that they have what it takes to be a champion, vintage equipment, trials bike stunt shows and kids’ entertainment.

On hand will be earthmoving machinery dealers such as Komatsu, JCB, Takeuchi, Kubota, Hyundai, Toro, Terex, Case, Dieci, Yanmar, Mustang, Kanga, Ditchwitch, Toyota, Dynapac, Luigong, Yuchai, Airman, Hitachi, Vermeer and Liebherr, to name a few.

On the earthmoving attachments side there will be AugerTorque, Kinshofer Norm Engineering, Auswide Trailers and Ramps, Digga, Boss, Atlas Copco, Hogan Buckets, Salmon Buckets , Flip screen, Atom Lasers, Peter Gardner Engineering, EI Engineering, Xcentric Rippers, Atlas Engineering, Doherty and Millers, among others.

There will also be large displays of the latest in bikes and boats.

“We are also giving away a prize that we believe has never been given away before at a trade show like this,” the organisers add. “To enter you simply have to attend the show and you could be the lucky winner.”
