Yutong signs agreement with Venezuela for 1500 buses

Chinese manufacturer Yutong will supply 1500 buses to Venezuela after recently signing a memorandum with the country

As Yutong is becoming more dominant in Australia, the Chinese manufacturer is making significant orders internationally.

Yutong signed a memorandum with Venezuela which contains 1500 Yutong buses as well as spare parts, tools, maintenance and intelligent bus operation management system on July 21, 2014.

 The manufacturer also signed a framework agreement on building a joint venture of bus plant in Venezuela with Venezuelan Ministry of industries and Land Transportation Ministry, according to a statement released by Yutong.

In the future, Venezuela is expected to export the buses produced domestically to South American Community of Nations and other market. 

Yutong’s is continuing to explore the key international market after its annual sales volume has ranked first in the world for three years in a row.

In 2013, Yutongs sales volume reached 56,068 units – becoming the leader of Chinese bus manufacturers in exploring the international market.
