Truckline offering workshops and new European range at BTS

After-market parts supplier to use show for launch of new viscous fan clutch and fan product range

Parts distributor Truckline is heading to the Brisbane Truck Show in May with a new range of viscous fan clutch and fan products from Horton.

With local distribution rights, Truckline says the new after-market product range, suited to European commercial vehicles, and both the Horton USA product sales director and the local Horton representative will be available during the four-day event.

According to the supplier, the European-manufactured, drop-in parts offer a cost-effective replacement to OEM products and are backed with a 160,000km or 12-month warranty.

As its European market continues to grow, Truckline is expecting the new range to draw interest from the Brisbane public.

“Truckline has traditionally captured the North American market for commercial vehicles,” Truckline marketing manager Jackie Perris says. “However the European market is a rapidly growing segment within our customer base.”

“As always with any new product we anticipate great interest from the market and sales success. Truckline are confident this new range will add value to our customers’ requirements in keeping them moving.”

In addition to the new products, the company has a series of interactive workshops on offer for visitors at its stand, including a Timken Tech Series training presentation.

“This is a highly interactive presentation where Timken engineers will demonstrate the correct methods of handling, installing and adjusting wheel bearings,” Perris says. “It also gives our guests on the stand the chance to have a go and see how they rate.”

Show goers will be also able to take part in a Fleetguard challenge.

“Customers can talk with a Fleetguard representative on our stand about their filtration requirements and if they are currently using a non-Fleetguard filtration product they can enter to take the Fleetguard challenge,” Perris explains. “With this challenge, if Truckline cannot provide a cost saving with a Fleetguard filtration product then the customer will receive a $250 Truckline Store Credit. Conditions do apply.”

Visitors looking for 4WD products will be in luck, with a range of Engel fridges, GME radios and solar panels on display and at special prices.

The Brisbane Truck Show begins on May 14 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
