Lusty EMS unveils new Stag Walking Floor trailer

New trailer combines Stag B-double and Walking Floor models

Tipper trailer brand Lusty EMS has launched the Stag Walking Floor trailer, a new combination for the waste and bulk transfer market.

The MaxiTrans subsidiary says the new trailer is a combination of its Stag B-double combination and its Walking Floor trailer and hopes it will provide increased capacity, payload and profit for transfer operators.

“What our customers constantly advise us is that they are looking for innovations which can make their life easier and which can deliver more profits back into their business,” MaxiTrans tippers general manager Craig Wallace says.

“The Stag Walking Floor achieves both those things, coming with the ability to unload both trailers without unhooking, combined with increased capacity and lower tare weight than a standard Walking Floor B-Double.”

According to the manufacturer, it has acknowledged the difficulties associated with unloading an A-trailer and has thus kept the Stag B-double’s ability to unload both trailers without the need to unhook.

“The benefit of our popular Stag B-Double tipper combination is that the body of the A-trailer sits over the suspension, meaning in a jack-knifed position, it can be unloaded without unhooking,” Wallace says.

“We’ve applied that same concept to our Walking Floor model, meaning in this new model both trailers can be unloaded or ‘walked out’ without unhooking. That translates into a significant saving of time and effort, which in turn means more loads per day and more profits for the operator.”

The Stag Walking Floor model can haul 134m3 and can feature EBS brakes, hydraulic tarps, reversing sensors and electronic ride height.
