Lusty to show new tipper pocket road train at show

Graham Lusty Trailers to bring a new tipper to the Perth Truck & Trailer Show in July.

Trailer manufacturer Graham Lusty Trailers (GLT) is planning to show off a new low-tare chassis tipper pocket road train at the Perth Truck & Trailer Show this month.

The trailer will include a yet-to-be-announced feature that GLT is “keeping under wraps” until the show, according to operations manager James Yerbury.

“Since October 2014, we have sold multiple sets of pocket road trains to large fleet operators based in WA,” Yerbury says.

“The set we are bringing to the show will have a special feature which is new in our options line-up.”

While Western Australian show goers will be the first to find out, Yerbury did provide a little detail on the tipper.

“Our pocket road trains will give you 100 cubic metres capacity with a tare weight of 15.5 tonnes in our lightweight spec.”

GLT co-founder Graham Lusty is looking forward to showing off the new range.

“I’m looking forward to meeting face-to-face with Western Australian operators at the Perth show,” Lusty says.

“Operators will be impressed with not only the tare weight and quality of our aluminium body products but also the range of trailers we can build.”

The Perth Truck & Trailer Show runs from July 24-26 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and GLT will be located at site 39.
