Lusty EMS demonstrates Drop Deck Chassis Tipper

New tipper trailer, launched at the Perth Truck Show, offers increased capacity, stability and payload.

Trailer manufacturer Lusty EMS has unveiled a new Drop Deck Chassis Tipper model for bulk transporters, with the MaxiTrans subsidiary displaying the trailer at the Perth Truck Show.

General manager of tippers at MaxiTrans Craig Wallace says it has optimised the height and shape of the new trailer to increase capacity, stability and payload.

“The drop deck design increases the volume of the trailer by up to six cubic metres per load over a standard chassis tipper,” Wallace says, “[That means] operators can carry more bulk product per trip, saving both time and money.”

The tipper brand says the model’s stability stems from its lower frame and resulting lower centre of gravity.

“The innovation is in the chassis main-rails,” Wallace says, “These are optimally designed to maximise strength and durability. This, combined with the aluminium construction, ensures the trailer maintains a low tare weight capable of carrying the extra load.”

The Lusty EMS trailer also features a road train coupling, making it suitable for road train configurations.

The Drop Deck Chassis Tipper is the second new trailer from the company since May, when it released a Stag Walking Floor trailer for the waste and bulk transfer market.
