Announcement follows discovery of suspension standard problems
A limited number of Fiat Ducato vans are the subject of a safety recall over a possible suspension issue.
According the alert, the rear suspension leaf springs may not conform to the required standard.
“If the rear suspension leaf springs do not meet the standard they may affect vehicle performance, becoming an accident hazard to road users,” it reads.
Owners are to be contacted by direct mail and should contact their nearest Fiat dealer to organise an inspection and repair, it adds.
