The dealership has proudly served Eastern Melbourne since 2006 and is now positioned in a prime industrial location at 77-79 Princes Highway, Dandenong South.
Specialising in the sales of Mack and UD Trucks, with parts and service of Mack, Volvo and UD trucks, CMV Truck & Bus Dandenong has become a trusted transport partner in the area.
Following 18 months of intensive construction, the redevelopment of CMV was finally completed and thanks to strategic planning, the dealership remained operational throughout the process.
“This transformation reiterates CMV Truck & Bus’ dedication to investing in its facilities and delivering industry-leading solutions to our growing customer base,” says CMV Truck & Bus General Manager, Anthony Russell.
“Additionally, the expansion includes modern and increased office space to support this continued growth.”
At the rear of the facility sits the 20,000 sqm Tech Centre, with 55 truck bays both inside and under the full-weather canopy.
“Our spacious workshops are equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art equipment, enabling us to reduce turnaround times and enhance efficiency, ensuring drivers can get back on the road quickly to keep their businesses moving,” he says.
The refurbishment included an expansion of the parts warehouse, ensuring rapid availability of genuine components, minimising customer downtime.
The customer centric design features a lounge with modern comforts, refreshments and a welcoming atmosphere tailored for customers and drivers.
A new Branch Manager was appointed recently to CMV, Adam Steenbuck who has been with the business for over 17 years.
“I am privileged to take the reins of this innovative dealership, which not only provides the highest level of service but puts the safety of our team and customers first,” he says.
“Safety is at the heart of everything we do and is a core business value, and this new facility is a true reflection of that commitment.”
Examples of this commitment include the investment in four 25-ton inground knuckle lifts, allowing technicians to raise vehicles safely, installing industry-leading pit covers and adding a Dangerous Goods Workshop, a designated area for safe servicing and repairs on customers specific vehicles.
To celebrate this incredible re-opening the dealership recently hosted a spectacular showcase event, with almost 200 people in attendance including many valued customers.
Volvo Group Australia’s President and CEO, Martin Merrick, was in attendance and officially opened the dealership.
“This is a dealership of the future, and it means that you the customer will benefit from improved efficiencies and customer experience, plus safety for all involved,” he says.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to the CMV Group for their unwavering partnership and dedication over the past 56 years. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones.”
