VTA CEO Peter Anderson says Australia’s transport industry is the cornerstone of the country’s economy, highlighting the importance of the conference.
“However, we face increasing productivity challenges that threaten sustainability, profitability, and our ability to meet the demands of a growing economy,” he says.
“VTA State Conference 2025 will bring together industry experts to help operators address these challenges and explore new solutions.”
Attendees will be provided with valuable opportunities at the conference to gain insights into latest strategies and innovations to enhance productivity while maintaining safety, share experience and solutions with operators and discover advancements.
“Transport operators are contending with growing regulatory burdens, compliance costs, and workforce shortages, all of which add pressure to their bottom line,” Anderson says.
“While safety regulations are essential to protecting workers and the public, they must be implemented in a way that does not unduly stifle operational efficiency.
