The 2018 Casino Truck Show caught organisers off guard when more than 200 trucks rolled up for the New South Wales northern rivers’ event, a sharp rise on numbers from previous years.

And the 2019 show, which takes place on Saturday, August 3, promises to be another huge event with hundreds of big rigs expected to take part.

As in previous years, North Coast Petroleum will again be the Casino Truck Show’s major sponsor.

The Westlawn Finance Truck Parade is a major part of the show, starting at the Casino Industrial Estate where truck registrations (at $30 per truck) will take place between 6am until 9 45am. The parade will start at 10am sharp, travelling into the town centre.

With trucks parked and on display around the Casino CBD, there is a variety of entertainment available for drivers, their families and spectators, including an appearance by street bike stunt rider Dave McKenna.

McKenna promises to light up the streets on his Yamaha 850cc MT09 and his one-of-a-kind supercharged 1000cc Yamaha MT10 drift bike.

The truck presentations are scheduled for 2pm when the Tiny Lollback Rig of The Show will be announced, with the winner to receive $1000 cash.

In addition, $200 will go to the winners of the Top 5 judged ‘Elite Trucks’, supported by Bling Man HQ.

Organisers have also announced that owners and drivers could walk away with four Lelox Smooth Stainless Guards or a voucher from Pearlcraft – for those who fancy having their steering wheel pearled – simply by entering their trucks in the show.

Afterwards, the pubs and clubs around town will feature live music and promotions. And there will be plenty of fresh breakfast options for those staying until Sunday morning.
