Dealing with Daimler Trucks Albury and its owner David Warren for quite some time, the company will now also use the new Shepparton dealership as its closer to its Deniliquin base.
Deniliquin Freighters took hold of five 2663 Actros models which operate an efficient 630hp 16-litre engine teamed with a 12-speed fully automated manual transmission (AMT).
Deniliquin Freighters managing director, Russell Tait says the Actros trucks that were replaced by the five new models had performed well.
“We’ve been really happy with them. The fuel economy has been good, the safety is always welcome, and the drivers appreciate the comfort,” he says.
Tait says the trucks are one thing, but the team behind them and the support following the delivery is exceptional.
“Dave will answer his phone whenever you call, whether it is in the middle of the night or the middle of the day and make sure any potential issue is sorted out and that is something we really appreciate,” he says.
“You can’t get a better dealer than Dave, it’s that simple.”
Warren thanked the Daimler Trucks Shepparton team for preparing its first big order and praises their hard work.
“We are building something really special at Daimler Trucks Shepparton and the team there has done an incredible job preparing new trucks and delivering the kind of support that our customers deserve,” Warren says.
Daimler Truck Australia vice president Andrew Assimo says it was great to see more Actros trucks in the distinctive Deniliquin Freighters colours.
“Deni Freighters is the kind of operation that you just love to have as an ambassador of your brand. It’s a truly professional operation that looks after its team and customers like they are family, and the trucks always look fantastic.”
