Hino has issued a recall for a number of affected 300 Series units due to a software defect.
The vehicle manufacturer says a warning message that indicates when the Automatic Clutch Unit (ACU) motors require replacement may not operate as intended.
This may cause the ACU to stop functioning and result in a loss of motive power.
Hino asks affected owners for their patience while new parts are being ordered, and advises them to contact the nearest authorised Hino dealer to rectify their vehicle, free of charge.
In the meantime you can contact the Hino Care Centre at 1300 014 466 or on their email at customersupport@hino.com.au.
