Bauer Trader Media‘s DAF XF105 Smart Rig competition prize, valued at $250,000, is now in the hands of the skilled team at Rice Graphic Images (RGI) in Wodonga, which has been commissioned to dress up the award-winning prime mover in bright yellow Avery Elite vinyl.

The work is being undertaken ahead of the 2013 Brisbane Truck Show on May 16-19, at which the vehicle will be displayed over the four-day event.

This state-or-the-art paint replacement coating has been chosen for its durability, flexibility and ease of application to complex panels mixes.

The team at RGI are experts in the use of the film and have been hard at work prepping the truck for its debut at Australia’s premier truck show.

Founded in 1968 as a sign-writing company specialising in the transport industry, RGI is based in Albury-Wodonga with a national network of installation and paint facilities servicing a diverse mix of fleet and independent transport, motorsport and automotive clients.

A second-generation family operation led by David Rice, the company’s focus on process excellence and full lifecycle service support sets it apart from the field.

In addition to the bright yellow livery on the XF105, the team at RGI has also dressed up a 45-foot Freighter tautliner with new curtains.

From tip to tail this rig is going to be hard to miss!

Bauer Trader Media Technical Writer Steve Skinner will be driving the rig from Wodonga to Brisbane in time for the show and you can be sure this is one truck that is going to be easier to find.
