Gold Coast earthmoving company 1st Choice Group has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of a brand new 700 Series Hino.
1st Choice is based at upper Coomera, and is headed up by Travis Northcote. Travis says that he went with the Hino FS2848 because he’s had good experiences with the make in the past.
“We’ve had no dramas with our existing Hino trucks,” Travis says.
The old Hinos were a 2006 Dutro, as well as a 500 series FM tipper.
“I am looking for longevity, so I chose a truck from a proven brand with power and a big gearbox.”
“We bought our 700 Series Hino FS2848 truck to haul our tag trailer, which weighs 20 tonnes when loaded. It has more than enough power to tow the trailer easily.”
Travis says that his business does a wide range of general contracting work around south-east Queensland, which means that he’s working with everyone from plumbers, to electricians, to landscapers.
