A head-on colission between two trucks killed both drivers in Sydney's southwest this morning.
The crash happened about 5am, when two heavy vehicles crashed head on, with one rolling and catching fire.
The owner of one of the trucks involved, Steve Cole, spoke on camera to Channel 7 confirming one of the drivers, only known as Mick, worked for him.
Mr Cole, who owns Campbell City Car Carriers, spoke of his relationship with Mick in a heartfelt message.
“He’s not just an employee of our company, he was a family member,” Mr Cole said in the video.
“It’s destroyed all of us.
“Trucks can be replaced, trailers can be replaced, but you can’t replace a life.
“There’s an old saying – you go to work in the morning, God willing, you come home of a night.”
