Isuzu unveils 2020 N Series sales campaign

New promotion for light-duty range as Isuzu tops sales charts again

 

Isuzu Trucks Australia (IAL) is celebrating its 31st year of Australian truck market leadership with a new sales campaign for selected cab-chassis models from its light-duty N Series truck range.

It says the new promotion is designed to benefit businesses in the new decade, comprising savings for the following models:

  • NLR 45-150
  • NLS 45-150 AWD
  • NLS 45-150 AWD Crew
  • NNR 45-150
  • NNR 45-150 Crew
  • NNR 55-150
  • NNR 65-150

Models featured across the program span a GVM range of 4,500 kg to 6,500kg, meaning all but two can be driven with a standard car driver’s licence.

Common amongst them is Isuzu’s 4-cylinder 110kW (148hp) 4JJ1-TCS engine.

All models (except AWD models) are also available with Isuzu’s automated manual transmission (AMT).

“Isuzu Trucks is always aiming to add value to Australian businesses, and the campaign is proof-positive of this approach,” Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) national sales manager Les Spaltman says.

“Across the available cab chassis models, you have capable payload and towing ratings, not to mention the broad availability of our AMT.

“Over their lifespan, Isuzu’s AMT presents fuel and maintenance savings and the ease of operation expected of a light-duty, everyday working truck.”

The promotion runs from January 1 until March 31, 2020.

It comes as IAL chief operating officer Andrew Harbison lauds the truckmaker’s market leadership in 2019 despite “soft economic conditions”

It results include:

  • Isuzu Trucks finished 2019 as leader, with 22.7 per cent share of the Australian truck market and a total of 8,621 units sold
  • Isuzu continues to lead the way in the light-duty segment, with 4,207 units sold for 36.6 per cent share
  • In medium duty, Isuzu Trucks again took line honours, finishing the year with 2,896 units sold for 39.1 per cent share of the market
  • At the heavy end, Isuzu continues to stand firm in third spot, with 1,518 units sold for 11.9 per cent share of a hard-fought market segment
