Digital classifieds enquiries soar in April

Decision makers flock to Bauer Media Group’s transport industry websites in record numbers to keep up to date on important news – as well as to buy the latest trucks, trailers and other parts and accessories for sale

 

Unique visitors (UVs) to Bauer Media Group’s transport industry websites skyrocketed 18.23 per cent – and classified enquiries jumped 14 per cent – in April as industry decision makers flocked to the platforms to access the latest industry news as well as research, compare and buy vital tools of trade.

Google Analytics data shows combined UVs to ABC’s BusNews.com.au, ATN’s Fullyloaded.com.au, OwnerDriver.com.au and Deals on Wheels’ TradeTrucks.com.au reached 245,366 in the period, up 18.23 per month-on-month (MoM) and 8.25 per cent year-on-year (YoY).

Leading the growth was OwnerDriver.com.au, up 30.8 per cent MoM and 23.1 per cent YoY; followed closely by Fullyloaded.com.au, up 21.8 per cent MoM and 23.3 per cent YoY to 103,190 UVs – the second highest number on record. TradeTrucks.com.au also had strong growth, with UVs up 6.25 per cent MoM to 64,614.

On top of increased reach, visitors are engaging longer on the websites too, with average session duration up almost 3 per cent to 2.17 minutes MoM.

And, most importantly, they’re searching and enquiring on stock items for sale more than ever, with enquiries on the 26,150 stock items for sale on the sites up 14 per cent MoM and 3 per cent YoY.

The surge in audience reach, engagement and response was also felt across Bauer Media Group’s machinery websites.

UVs to TradeFarmMachinery.co.au were up 32.5 per cent MoM and almost 6 per cent YoY to 125,928– the highest level since the site was launched in 2013; UVs to TradeEarthmovers.com.au were up 27.4 per cent MoM – and 13.7 per cent YoY – to a two-year high of 82,949; while UVs to TradePlantEquipment.com.au jumped 15.3 per cent MoM – and 14.3 per cent YoY – to 16,980.
