Gear up for this Saturday’s Haulin’ the Hume where 320 big rigs are set to make a mighty impression.
“You can expect to see a lot of old trucks,” says event organiser Andy Nash. “They will hopefully be very noisy, with a little bit of black soot.”
“We’re excited for the big crowds en route to wave us on, it’s tradition at this point.”

Surround yourself and the family with the sounds and sights of trucking, from Luddenham Showgrounds, over the famous ‘Razorback’, through the Hole in the Wall at Picton, onto Mittagong, Berrima and then the display at Goulburn, to view these vehicles in all their glory.
After lunch the convoy continues along the Cullerin Range into Gunning, before finishing up in Gundagai where there will be a dinner at the showgrounds.
On Sunday April 13, there will be a morning wrap up with a lovely breakfast and farewells before the trucks return home. The convoy begins 10am Saturday April 12 and goes until 1:30pm.
Nash encourages crowds to come out and cheer on our Aussie truckies.
“As we’re travelling through, give us a wave and we’ll give you a beep of the horn and a wave back,” he says.
“It will be nice to know that crowds are out there supporting us. The convoy will also take a few of us down memory lane.”
