Kenworth T908 owner takes home Casino Truck show top prize

With record breaking attendance there would have been stiff competition for the top price at this year’s North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show. This stunning Kenworth wowed crowds enough to take it home.

The 2023 North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show has earned the distinction of being the largest truck show in the southern hemisphere, surpassing the previous title holder, the TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show in Christchurch, New Zealand, thanks to a twofold increase in participants.

According to the organizers, a total of 580 trucks were assessed, collectively valued at over $300 million.

Furthermore, the show achieved a remarkable feat by breaking all previous attendance records for a single-day event in Richmond Valley, drawing an impressive crowd of 14,000 attendees.

The Rig of the Show prize, along with a cheque for $1000, went to Luke Wilson of Bulmers Transport for a T908 with 1.9 million kilometres on the clock.

The premier award for the show also came with some unique, one-off 6061 Billet goodies, crafted by Monkey Spunk Fabrications, as well as the towering Rig of the Show trophy and the winner’s name etched on the plaque.
