Mack Trucks Australia celebrated 125 years of industry leadership, performance, and legacy at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, unveiling their new technological innovations.

“At this year’s Brisbane Truck Show, [we proudly presented] the latest in engineering excellence—from our game-changing MP11 780hp engine, the most powerful conventional engine on the market, to advancements that redefine driver comfort and fuel eOiciency,” vice president of Mack Trucks Australia Tony O’Connell says.
Joining the festivities all the way from the US is Mack Trucks president Stephen Roy, who is visiting Australia for the first time to join in on the celebrations.
“For over 125 years, Mack Trucks has been driving customers forward — delivering the kind of innovation that has helped shape the Australian transport industry,” he says.
“As we look to the future, our commitment remains strong: to challenge the status quo through sustainable growth, cutting-edge technology, and world-class engineering expertise— globally driven, and manufactured locally, specifically for the Australian market.”
Mack’s major highlight at the show was the highly anticipated launch of the new-look Super-Liner, Australia’s most powerful conventional truck for the past decade.
Now featuring the first-of-its-kind 780hp 17-litre MP11 engine paired with the latest- generation mDRIVE transmission, the Super-Liner is built to tackle Australia’s toughest transport challenges.
Driver comfort makes major advancements with the all-new 70-inch, walk-through sleeper available on both the Super-Liner and Titan models.
The sleeper oOers multiple configurations, including single and double bunks, ensuring that drivers benefit from the ultimate in comfort and convenience on long hauls.
Mack is also introducing the Euro 6 MP8 High EOiciency Anthem, equipped with innovative turbo compound technology. This cutting-edge system recycles energy from the exhaust flow, improving fuel eOiciency and delivering an impressive 2800Nm of torque – transforming highway performance for operators seeking maximum fuel economy and power.
Mack Trucks Australia’s is pushing toward sustainability. Since December 2024, all trucks built at the Wacol manufacturing facility are filled with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) – a more sustainable alternative to diesel.
This transition aligns with Mack’s broader goal to achieve net-zero emissions, positioning the company at the forefront of green innovation in the Australian transport sector.
As part of its milestone celebrations, Mack Trucks showcased its heritage display at the Rocklea Heritage Show during the Brisbane Truck Show, featuring iconic Mack trucks from each decade.
The company’s continuous drive for innovation ensures it remains at the forefront of the sector, delivering products that set new standards in performance, comfort, and sustainability.
