This one-day workshop will share knowledge about modern technologies and policy considerations that support the decarbonisation of road transport infrastructure.
On-road freight and passenger transport represent over 75 per cent of global inland transport and must decarbonise to achieve the goals of The Paris Agreement.
Sessions will consider:
- A range of national strategies and policies from around the world to decarbonise road passenger and freight transport and their objectives and deployment plans
- Electric road systems to decarbonise the road transport sector
- Road user solutions to decarbonise the road transport sector, including technology solutions
- Solutions for alternative energy production, including solar panels and wind turbines along the road.
Experts from around the world, along with key figures in the Australasian region will distribute the current state-of-the-art practices and discuss ongoing opportunities and challenges in Road Infrastructure for Road Transport Decarbonisation.
