Penske Australia and New Zealand has announced it will be ending its partnership with diesel engine dealer DEUTZ Australia and New Zealand after years of collaboration.
The company says it will continue to supply DEUTZ engines until mid-January, using its engine portfolio across the industrial, mining, power generation and agricultural sectors.
This comes as Penske continues to look at alternative power sources to decarbonise its operations in a move towards zero-emissions.
Penske ANZ executive general manager Matthew Smith thanks DEUTZ for the partnership.
“We have proudly represented the DEUTZ engine portfolio across a range of industries and to a range of customers over several years,” he says.
“We intend to focus our people on higher power nodes and future technologies. We thank DEUTZ for a successful partnership and wish the team all the best.”
DEUTZ Australia CEO Craig Chamberlin says the companies have organised a full handover program to ensure a smooth move out of the partnership.
“Through this transition period and beyond, existing and new DEUTZ customers will receive thorough support through the DEUTZ representative network across Australia and New Zealand,” he says.
“On behalf of the DEUTZ team, I’d like to thank Penske for their partnership over many successful years, and we wish them all the best. We look forward to a smooth and efficient transition for all our customers.”
