Penske orders Dennis Eagle model recall

A number of Dennis Eagle models are being recalled for a change of parts due to a possible fault.

Penske Australia is ordering a recall for a number of its recent Dennis Eagle models, due to a potential manufacturing defect in select vehicles.

All variants within the DE 6×4, DE 6×4 Dual, Elite 6 RHS 3-Axle and Elite 6 DX 3-Axle models are a part of the recall.

The front axle brake line hose(s) are at risk of becoming dislodged from the end fitting crimp due to the defect. This may cause a reduction in braking performance or unintended park brake application.

Penske warns that this could potentially increase the risk of an accident.

All owners of affected vehicles are advised to contact their preferred Dennis Eagle dealer to have parts ordered and replaced free of charge.

Any operators or owners who have had one of the vehicles under this model serviced under previous recall REC-005499 should also contact their Dennis Eagle dealer.
