Shell Australia has launched the Shell Rimula R4 X, a heavy duty engine oil designed for trucks.
Shell claim that the oil provides protection in three critical areas – engine cleanliness, acid corrosion, and engine wear.
Shell Transport Marketing Specialist, Emma Hand, says that “Our customers and partners told us they needed a product that could handle the tough operating conditions in Australia; we listened and the result is the Shell Rimula R4 X.”
“Developed with Shell’s market leading research and innovation, the improved formula is designed to stand up in all manner of challenging driving conditions,” she says.
Over $50,000 in prizes from Shell
To celebrate the release of the new product, Shell is also offering a chance to win a major prize of a first class trip for two to LA and Las Vegas, a prize valued at up to $50,000.
Other prizes include a $3,000 Gold Coast holiday, as well as 15 RedBalloon vouchers valued at $200 which will be given away periodically over a 10 weeks.
In order to be eligible to win the prizes, customers can purchase any 1L to 209L Shell Rimula product over the duration of the competition.
Prizes are available from now until Sunday November 24 of this year.
