Axalta Launches Australian bodyshop mentorship service

Coating firm introduces a swathe of programs to benefit Australian bodyshop owners

 

Global vehicle coating supplier Axalta Coating Systems has announced that it will re-launch its consulting service that provides education and tools to Australian bodyshop owners.

The program is called Business Services, and it’s designed to assist bodyshop owners by providing supplemental training to staff, implementing new technological tools, exposing owners to larger industry trends and more.

 “Our business services will partner with bodyshops to assist them implement processes and systems – in both the workshop and the office – to help them improve productivity and profitability in their business.” Axalta strategic services manager Ken Catford-Potter says.

Business Services is a value-add option that Axalta offers in addition to its primary role as a supplier of liquid and powder coatings.

“The benefits of this performance services program are plentiful, ranging from training and courses on best practice procedures to industry networking opportunities and offering access to tools that can help improve the way a business is managed and marketed,” Catford-Potter adds.

“Our program strives to cover the topics that are central to running a bodyshop, such as strategies intended to increase net profit, expand employee education or help with more diverse challenges such as an insurance audit processes.”
