Following a launch at Nevada’s Hoover Dam, the Freightliner Inspiration truck takes to the highways.
Brian Sandoval, Governor of Nevada, hands-over the world´s first license plate for public roads for an autonomous truck to Dr. Wolfgang Bernhard, member of the management board of Daimler AG and responsible for trucks and buses.
The Inspiration truck joins a convoy as the driver removes his hands from the wheel and attends to his tablet.
An animated segment then illustrates the truck’s sensors in operation.
