New deals see Asixa in charge of Bridgestone and Pirelli tyre distribution in rural Victoria
Regional freighter Asixa has expanded its tyre-delivery reach to include Bridgestone and Pirelli after acquiring contracts to transport the brands to regional Victoria.
The freight provider, which specialises in overnight distribution and moves almost 850,000 tyres a year to country areas, handles tyres for passenger vehicles, heavy vehicles and agricultural and industrial machinery.
Asixa CEO Simone Turner says the deals with Bridgestone and Pirelli are a reflection of the industry’s trust in the company.
“For a long time, Asixa has been a trusted partner for many tyre brands and their distributors, but now we can say with certainty that we are the one-stop-shop for all tyre brands distributed outside of Melbourne,” Turner says.
Based in Pakenham, Asixa says it now carries every major tyre brand to resellers across Victoria, eastern South Australia and southern New South Wales.
“We can count more than 200 tyre brands that our network of road freight and warehousing moves across the state,” Turner says.
“It’s our reliable overnight distribution network that is critical to getting tyres to retailers right when their customers expect them.
“If someone purchases a set of tyres in regional Victoria, odds are Asixa delivered them.”
