Isuzu launches technologically advanced N Series

New line-up features a focus on safety through constant monitoring

Isuzu has launched its “highly anticipated” N Series truck, highlighting a wide range of safety features and innovative engineering technology.

The Japanese manufacture is positioning this line up of “intelligent” truck models as one of the most advanced on the Australian market.

It offers a comprehensive safety suite, boosted further with the introduction of Isuzu electronic stability control (IESC).

The package also features an anti-slip regulator (or ASR control upgrade on models with the IESC).

The IESC works by constantly monitoring speed, brake performance, steering angle, and suspension geometry.

In an understeer example, the IESC will counter the situation by applying breaks on the outer wheels and inner drive wheel, while also instructing the engine to reduce torque.

Isuzu Australia sales manager Andrew Harbison says the elevated safety specifications of the 2015 N Series trucks would lead to significant sale opportunities across the country,

“What we find in the new N Series is a complete solution that ticks every box,” he says.

“The availability of enhanced safety features will bring the highest quality safety technology within the grasp of many fleets and owner drivers.

“As the Australian truck market leaders, Isuzu trucks are justifiably the first choice of many operators. And as these new N Series models go into service, they will play their part in making a safer, more advanced working environment available to more and more of Australia’s truck drivers.”
