Hunter unveils new Win Align HD system

New wheel alignment system promises efficient readings for all heavy-duty vehicle technicians

Service equipment manufacturer Hunter Engineering has announced the Hunter Win Align HD, a heavy-duty wheel alignment aid that promises efficiency improvements.

According to the company, customers will be able accurately diagnose three-axle wheel alignments in four minutes, a third of the time required with its previous generation model.

The alignment system features four or six DSP700T sensors, Hunter says, which use “roll-forward Quick Comp compensation to compensate all sensors at once without the need to jack each axle.”

The cordless sensors have an accuracy range of 1.524m to accommodate a number of truck, bus and trailer lengths.

The Win Align HD, distributed locally by Stocks Automotive Australia, also includes turn plates that automatically lock and unlock, helping technicians align vehicles on the floor, rack or pit.

Hunter says the system can provide full vehicle measurements with the help of its Fully Integrated Alignment Turn plate kit.
