Mack Titan trucks recalled on brake issue

ACCC notice says 22 Titan trucks have incorrectly routed pipes

Volvo Group Australia has recalled 22 Mack Truck Titan vehicles sold in Queensland and Western Australia on the back of brake timing issues.

According to an Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) notice, brake timing in the affected trucks “does not meet legislative requirements due to the incorrect routing of pipes”.

“The brake response time may be reduced under normal operation, posing an accident hazard to the driver and other road users,” the ACCC says.

The VIN numbers of the impacted vehicles are listed here, and affected owners should take their vehicles to an authorised repairing dealer.
