Penske Truck Rental to open fourth store

The lease company will be heading to South Australia in 2016

Penske Truck Rental’s expansion will continue in the second quarter of 2016, announcing it will be opening its Australian outlet in Adelaide.

Since arriving on local shores in August last year, the company has opened locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and now in Edinburgh, Adelaide.

“We’ve had great feedback from customers in our three current markets,” Penske Truck Rental rental manager Brendan Porter says.

“Our expansion to Adelaide in 2016 comes in direct response to the growth in our customer base, and demand for our products and services.”

Operating a fleet of Western Star, MAN and Freightliner trucks, Penske says it is able to provide a leaser with on-board telematics reporting on truck and driver behaviour in all of its trucks.

Truck models range from day cab to road train rated.

“We’re excited to take the Penske Truck Rental brand to Adelaide in 2016 and co-locate with Penske Power Systems,” Penske Truck Rental general manager Adrian Beach says.

“It’s part of our commitment to grow our business footprint through key locations in Australia while also helping our customers to build their businesses as well.”

The new South Australian outlet will be located at 03-107 West Avenue in Edinburgh.
