Bridgestone unveils Total Tyre Management program

Bridgestone launches new approach to fleet tyre management with service program

Tyre manufacturer Bridgestone has unveiled its Total Tyre Management (TTM) program, a new heavy-vehicle-focused support offering.

Encompassing services, emergency support, and statistical information, Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand managing director Andrew Moffatt says the TTM program is a commitment to the fleet logistics industry.

“We believe we have the most complete offering to support fleets in running their businesses efficiently and profitably through technology – such as our B-fleet management software – and our physical presence, epitomised by the market-leading intelligence of our support staff and dealer network,” he says.

The new program features coverage from 280 service vehicles, equipped with a range of on-site services such as rotations, pressure checks, and tread-depth readings; online access to vehicle fleet data through B-Fleet, which covers monthly tyre usage, cost-per-kilometre, and individual vehicle reports; and Bridgestone’s 24/7 Emergency Tyre Assistance service.

Also included is access to technical engineers and tyre fitters, aid from the company’s dealer network, a centralised invoicing system, and a tailored business plan for both the fleet and specific vehicles.

“No other tyre brand can match Bridgestone’s global strength, our research and development and our specific in-country testing to ensure the products that we offer to the Australian market are ideally suited to our unique conditions,” Moffatt says.

Based around gaining the best cost-per-kilometre, Moffatt says the program will evolve over time as Bridgestone finds ways to improve its product offering and service.

“Identifying areas in which improvements can be made not only increases our level of service to our customers but is reflected in the efficiency of their business,” Moffatt says.

“When they win, we win.”
