Daimler Trucks Sydney and Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast top winners in Mercedes-Benz Trucks awards
Mercedes-Benz Trucks has announced Daimler Trucks Sydney and Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast as the top metropolitan and rural dealerships in Australia for 2015.
Handed out at a Melbourne event this week, the Metropolitan Dealer of the Year award has been presented to Daimler Trucks Sydney dealer principal Greg Gardiner, while the Rural Dealer of the Year award was given to Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast.
“Our Dealer of the Year award is a huge honour, one that both Daimler Trucks Sydney and Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast well and truly deserve,” Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus director Michael May says.
“Both have demonstrated a clear commitment to putting the customers first, be it selling trucks, servicing trucks or making sure we get parts to customers as soon as possible.”
Falling just short in the metropolitan category was Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Laverton, while the rural award runner-up was Daimler Trucks Newcastle.
In the individual awards, Ted Ogluszko from Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Laverton was judged the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Sales Person of the Year, finishing above Tim Blackstock.
The Rookie of the Year went to Daimler Truck Sydney employee Mark Reynolds and Dean Scekic from Daimler Trucks Perth was announced as the Parts Manager of the Year.
Daimler Trucks Sydney also took home the Service Manager of the Year award, with Mark Purser collecting the gong.
