The manufacturer has replaced Skipper Trucks with AV Truck Services in Perth
Iveco Australia has announced West Australian dealership group AV Truck Services as its newest full-service dealership following the cessation of Skipper Trucks as an Iveco franchisee from this month.
The move by Skipper Trucks to pursue interests other than commercial vehicles has opened the door for AV Truck Services to look after the greater Perth metropolitan area from May 1.
Predicting minimal issues for local customers, Iveco Australia network development manager Matteo Gambaro says its new partner is a high-profile and professional group.
“AV Truck Services is extremely well regarded in Western Australia, and Iveco Australia is very excited that this outlet will become our new dealership in Perth,” Gambaro says.
“The group operates a large and well-equipped facility and has strong existing commercial vehicle expertise that will enable a much easier transition to provide high quality sales, service and parts support for the Iveco range from the outset.
“The West Australian market is important for Iveco Australia, and we are confident that Iveco truck and van customers and prospects will receive excellent support from AV Truck Services.”
Located less than 10km from Skipper Trucks, AV Truck Services is based at 485 Great Eastern Highway in Redcliffe.
