Iveco expands WA and Qld network

Sales and service network expanded to accommodate heavy vehicle and Daily models

Iveco Australia has expanded its heavy vehicle and light commercial dealer networks in Western Australia and Queensland.

For light commercial customers, Iveco says it has “appointed specialist Daily van and cab chassis dealerships” across both states which will offer “dedicated sales, servicing and parts support”.

The new locations in Western Australia are the Perth Iveco Centre in Victoria Park and the Rockingham-based Bergman Auto Group Iveco.

For Queensland customers, the North Pine Daily Iveco dealership in Petrie, approximately 30km north of the Brisbane CBD has also been given specialist status.

The company has also expanded its Western Australian heavy vehicle presence with the Kalgoorlie-based Goldfields Truck Power joining AV Truck Services as recent additions to the full-time Iveco dealership network.

Iveco Australia network development manager Matteo Gambaro says the changes are part of a new company commercial and service strategy.

“The latest additions to the network are twofold – Iveco has the desire to better service existing customers,” Gambaro says, “but with the company’s product range the strongest and most extensive that it’s been in years, it’s no secret that sales growth is also on the agenda.”

“Furthermore, the appointment of new Daily specialist dealerships will allow Iveco to better compete with brands that have predominantly passenger car backgrounds, where the purchase experience can be very different to that of heavy vehicles.”

Gambaro says the upcoming release of new Daily 4×4 models along with the 2016 International Truck of the Year-winning Eurocargo has Iveco expecting to announce further dealership appointments “across all states in the coming months”.
