Transport Refrigeration Services sells milestone Thermaxx body

Wilton says Thermaxx bodies have been developed to suit most businesses

Transport Refrigeration Services (TRS) has sold its 1,000th Thermaxx Advantage rigid truck body, with the milestone vehicle going to Victoria-based egg distributor Pace Farms.

“Initially building around 100 bodies a year, we’ve really stepped up the vibe and ramped up production to reach the 300-400 Thermaxx truck bodies we produced this year,” TRS GM Daniel Wilton says.

The Thermaxx bodies have been developed to suit most businesses, Wilton says.

The range uses a special fibreglass composite panel sourced from Europe.

It is made with stainless steel fittings and hardware, and is foodsafe compliant.

“The configurations have evolved over the years to get the right sizes as options that people find are the most appropriate for their applications.

“We go from the smallest ute body to the biggest players out there.

“We’re a company that services all sizes of customers and they’re all important to us.”

This is Pace Farms’ second Thermaxx truck after it first purchased one in 2013.
