Terex unveils Australian distributor

Articulated truck maker teams up with local construction supplier for national coverage

Construction equipment manufacturer Terex Trucks has announced an Australian distributor, appointing OPS Equipment to the role.

The distributor, which has been covering the construction industry since 1989, will provide a national coverage of the truck brand based out of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Providing, sales, service and consultations, OPS will cover all three articulated haulers produced by Terex and offer aftermarket services.

Terex Trucks APAC sales and marketing director Clement Chong says it is a perfect fit for the brand.

“OPS prides itself on providing quality support to its customers in the segments served, which include mining, earthmoving, civil construction and quarries, and these are areas that fit extremely well with Terex Trucks’ client base,” Chong says.

“The company has gained a good reputation in the market for the products and services it delivers, and we are confident that OPS will bring the same enthusiasm to Terex Trucks’ customers.”

Promising all-day support from its technicians, OPS managing director Shane Czerkasow says the company is “delighted to partner with Terex Trucks”.

“We believe the two organisations’ values and objectives are aligned, such as the simplicity of product for maximum operational effectiveness, quality customer service and a leading, first class aftermarket back up offering,” he says.

“OPS is committed to providing all our existing and new Terex Trucks customers with a new level of service and support and look forward to fostering a long partnership with Terex Trucks.”
