Penske Truck Rental enters WA market

New truck hire facility co-located with Penske Power Systems in Hazelmere

Penske Truck Rental, a subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing, is about to open its fifth branch nationally.

The latest addition to the business is a new truck hire facility in Hazelmere, Perth, which is set to commence operations on August 1.

Co-located with Penske Power Systems, the truck rental will offer a range of trucks for the Perth hire fleet including new 120‐tonne MAN TGX D38 prime movers, 45‐tonne MAN TGS 440 prime movers, and Western Star 2800 6×2 14‐pallet body trucks.

Penske Truck Rental GM Adrian Beach says since launching the business in 2014, the company has seen a huge increase in demand for short-term rental and long-term leasing products.

“Our focus is on building relationships, understanding our customers’ needs and providing customised solutions to meet their unique fleet requirements,” Beach says.

“It’s our people that make the biggest difference. We have a great team of dedicated associates who work hard to provide the best customer experience the industry has to offer.

“And that’s what we’ll be bringing to Western Australia.”

The Hazelmere branch was recently awarded the retail dealership for Penske Commercial Vehicles offering sales, service and parts support for Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus and Dennis Eagle.
