Digital growth motors ahead

The recent surge in audience reach, engagement and advertiser response across Bauer Media Group’s transport and machinery websites continued in May



Unique visitors (UVs) to Bauer Media Group’s transport industry websites jumped a further 12.69 per cent month-on-month (MoM) in May, according to Google Analytics data.

This follows MoM growth of 18.23 per cent in April across the network comprising,, and

All up 276,510 unique visitors flocked to the sites in May to access the latest industry news as well as research, compare and buy vital tools of trade – up 12.3 per cent year-on-year (YoY).

Leading the growth was, up 19.37 per cent MoM; followed closely by, up 16.2 per cent MoM; and, up 14.38 per cent MoM to its largest monthly audience on record.’s UV’s nudged up 1.25 per cent MoM.

On top of increased reach, visitors are engaging more on the websites too, with page impressions up 18.7 per cent to 1.235 million MoM to be 18.5 per cent higher than a year ago.

And, most importantly, they’re searching and enquiring on stock items for sale more than ever, with enquiries on the 26,664 stock items for sale on the sites up 26.17 per cent MoM and 13.1 per cent YoY.

The surge in audience reach, engagement and response was also felt across Bauer Media Group’s machinery websites.

UVs to, and were up 4.2 per cent MoM and 14.7 per cent YoY to 246,769 – their best combined audience on record; while enquiries were up 13.8 per cent MoM and 58 per cent YoY to their highest level on record.
