New platform drives enquiries growth

New dealer classifieds platforms fuels strong growth in reach, engagement and enquiries


Reach and engagement across Bauer Media Group’s transport and machinery websites has skyrocketed over the past four months following the roll-out of a modern new classifieds platform for dealers.

In the four months since the launch of the new dealer mini-site platform organic sessions on,,,,, and have jumped 16 per cent compared to the previous period; while page views are up 31 per cent – from 4.9 to 6.2 pages per session.

Most importantly, the increased reach and engagement has fuelled strong growth in dealer enquiries, with leads on the 24,000+ trucks, trailers, and parts and accessories for sale on the four transport sites up 5 per cent month-on-month (MOM) and 11 per cent year-on-year (YOY) in August. This growth has accelerated into September, with average daily enquiries up 9 per cent MOM and 22 per cent YOY in the period September 1–14.

Similarly, enquiries on, and were up 2 per cent MOM and 31 per cent YOY in August; and an even stronger 8 per cent MOM and 49 per cent YOY in the first two weeks of September.

The increased engagement and response was achieved off the back of robust audience growth across all sites, with sessions across the transport network up 2 per cent YOY in the first half of September; and sessions across the machinery network up 23 per cent YOY.

The new mini-site platform also allows dealers to list (and label) stock for hire as well as for sale; and users to specifically search for, and enquire on, stock for hire or sale.
