Changed traffic conditions at Scabbing Flat bridge are set to affect truckies and motorists as essential repair work on the bridge approaches.

The bridge on Arthurville Road, four kilometers south of Geurie, will be closed to all vehicles from November 12 to 14, 9am to 3pm and November 26 to 28 and December 10 to 12.
The following detours will be in place during work hours:
- Detour via Dubbo: Obley Road, Benolong Road, Terrabella Road, Arthurville Road.
- Detour via Wellington: Renshaw McGirr Way, Suntop Road, Arthurville Road.
Outside of these work hours, Scabbing Flat Bridge has a 16-tonne load limit in place and heavy vehicles are advised to use the detour routes.
It’s advised for all road users to plan their trip, follow the directions of signs and traffic control, and allow 25 to 45 minutes of extra travel time.
