SITRAK issues recall for 305 of their SINOTRUK’s

A recall notice has been issued by SITRAK Australia for 305 units of their SINOTRUK T5G in the year range 2021-2024.

Due to a software issue, the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) function may not operate as intended.

This may cause the vehicle to exceed the maximum speed limit of 100 kilometres an hour, if the driver intervenes when the cruise control is active.

If the ACC is not operating as intended, this can increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to people in the vehicle, or other road users.

It is advised that owners of affected vehicles contact their nearest authorised SITRAK Australia dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
