Get in gear
Held at the Panthers Penrith, the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo is a must-attend for anyone involved in construction.

Panthers Penrith is where it’s all going to happen again in 2019 at The National Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo, running over three big days from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5.

Australia’s construction boom continues, so it’s more important than ever to make sure your business is equipped with the latest and most efficient gear to keep you competitive and profitable.

The National Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo is a unique platform where you can really check out what machinery, process or system is going to be right for your business in the coming years.

With so many suppliers assembled in the one place, you can be sure of catching a really great price and finance deal, while there’s plenty of networking opportunities for you and great food and entertainment for the whole family.

Who will be there?

Many companies will also have their factory specialists on site to assist you with any questions, while the demonstration area provides a fantastic opportunity to test equipment before you buy.

Mecalac is building its own demonstration area to show its revolutionary MCR series convertible excavator. By pressing a button this machine, it converts from a mini excavator to a track loader to a forklift, grader and even a telehandler.

Wedgelock, one of the industry’s longest established designers and manufacturers of couplers and attachments, will be there with its range of I-Lock couplers.

New sponsor STG Global will also be in attendance, showing off its new range of vacuum trucks which feature state-of-the-art vacuum technology to rapidly load and unload liquid slurry using a compact, heavy-duty vacuum system design.

The company will also show its fleet of standard service trucks in 4×2, 4×4, 6×4, 6×6 and 8×4 cab chassis models, all of which can be mounted to the chassis of all the major truck manufacturers.

If you’re a fleet operator, asset manager, agricultural contractor, local government manager or a contractor, there’s no better way to keep up to date with the latest productivity tools.

Plenty of industry support

The event will be well covered by media, with Earthmovers & Excavators editor Randall Johnston saying the event is a highlight of the year for him.

"Diesel Dirt & Turf has positioned itself as the premiere and all-encompassing farming, construction and earthmoving machinery event in Australia," he says.

"With all major brands represented and a number of OEMs timing the Australian launches of their new equipment to coincide with DD&T, there’s bound to be something for everyone.

"As an Associate Sponsor, all attendees will get a copy of Earthmovers & Excavators magazine free in their show bag on entry and we will be keeping readers up to date with all the latest DD&T news in the lead up to May 3," he says.

Other regular sponsors who will make a significant contribution to the Expo include Pickles Auctions, Norm Engineering, Hydraulic Steels and Epiroc.

Operators’ challenge and networking events

The ever-popular operators’ challenge will be staged again for 2019 and there are massive door prizes to be won, which include high-value major equipment from AusWide and Toro, as well as a $31,000 Kanga loader from machinery attachments company Digga.

Digga will also sponsor the DD&T golf day fundraiser at the championship Twin Creeks Golf Club on Friday, March 15, with all proceeds going to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

The 2018 DD&T golf day was a massive success, which was booked out well before the date. Watch for further details of this great event if you want to join one of the industry’s top networking events of the year.

If you or your business has anything to do with the earthmoving, site preparation, landscaping and agricultural services industries you’ll definitely not want to miss out on the National Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo 2019.
